SASMA'S NEW LOGO

After celebrating our 20th anniversary last year, we introduced a new logo for our company this year. Our new logo represents our vast product assortment within spirits and neutral alcohols in addition to Pharmaceutical, cosmetics and chemical alcohols. Our light blue color is often associated with freshness, clarity, purity and modernity. And we introduced a copper
color which represents our spirits being reminiscent of a copper sill.

RECENT ECONOMIC INSIGHTS

FREIGHT UPDATES AND UNDERSTANDING MARKET TRENDS Q4 AND BEYOND

Freight Dry Containers: 2023 year end summary is that containers decreased substantially to a more sustainable level.

Spirits: Overall, the demand has slowed, specifically in the whisky category. There are shortages and high prices. We see a risk in prices decreasing because suppliers still need to sell their products.

Neutral Alcohol: We saw substantial decrease this past year for all neutral alcohols ranging from premium to standard, produced from different types of raw materials around the world. In the last period the economy has slowed down, demand is less and prices have stabilized. We see this trend continuing into early 2024.

2024 holds a lot of uncertainty. ENA, which is produced from sugar cane, is one example due to current sugar shortages. Market prices depend on the economy and whether or not things remain slow or pick up again.
